Fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform Myntra on November 12 said it has named Nandita Sinha as its chief executive officer.
Her appointment is effective from January 1, 2020 and she will report to Flipkart Group CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy.
Ms Sinha will replace Amar Nagaram, who left Myntra last month after leading the company as CEO for nearly three years.
She will join Myntra from group company Flipkart, where, as vice president of customer development and marketing, she is currently leading the overall charter for marketing.
As a seasoned leader in the consumer internet space, Ms. Sinha has deep expertise in driving leading businesses and technology-driven growth and innovation, it said in a statement.
During her nearly eight-year stint at Flipkart, she has worked across a range of roles and categories including beauty and personal care, books and general merchandise, home and furniture and grooming many future leaders with her exemplary people skills. She joined Flipkart in August 2013 after working at Hindustan Unilever Limited and Britannia Industries Limited.
Before joining Flipkart, she was the co-founder of MyBabyCart.com, an e-commerce site.
