Mysore: A young man attacked his father and a woman with a sharp weapon and killed her in south Srinagar. Mysore late Thursday.
“Both died on the spot, while the woman’s son was injured and has been admitted to the hospital,” Mysore South police said.
The dead have been identified as Shiv Prakash (56) and Creeper (48).
The accused Sagar (28) son Shivprakash is absconding.
27-year-old Lata’s son Arjun is hospitalized with injuries.
The reasons for the attack and the murder are not known.
The police has started the search for the accused Sagar.

Sagar followed his father Shivprakash, who was a businessman, and had a fight with him over family matters and then attacked his father with a sharp weapon, killing him on the spot.
Later Sagar also attacked Lata with the same weapon. He died on the spot.
Arjun tried to save his mother from the attack but in vain.
Sources claimed that Lata is the widow of Nagraj, who is Shivprakash’s business partner.
Shivprakash is taking care of Lata’s family after Nagraj’s death in 2016. This is said to be the motive behind the murder as Sagar had accused his father of neglecting his family to take care of his friend’s family.
Lata has three children – two daughters and a son.
Sivaprakash has two children – a daughter and a son – and lived with his family in KG Koppal.
