Varanasi: Nand GhariA flagship CSR project of Vedanta Limited, in partnership with MealMile Nutrients, has undertaken a pilot project to improve the nutritional status of 3,000 malnourished children in the Araji Line block of Varanasi.
Under the pilot project, ready-to-use medical food (RUTF) in the form of a paste is being distributed by the district administration to every household with malnourished children in Varanasi.
The project aims to potentially improve the nutritional and health status of targeted children by ensuring access to nutritious food.
The ongoing pilot project is five months long and will eventually be evaluated by the district administration.
