Modi lauded Shantanu and his father Manjul Krishna Thakur for carrying forward the legacy of Guru Harichand-Gurchand and Boro Maa. Modi assured that his government has set a target of giving 100% coverage to Matua families with pucca houses, tap water, old age pension, widow pension and insurance of Rs 1 lakh for all.
