The US space agency released an amazing photo of the crater of Mars that has left the internet in awe.
In a social media post, the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) informed Astrophiles that they are observing zero degree longitude on Mars. “The large crater sitting within this crater is called Airy Crater, which basically defined zero longitude for Mars,” NASA wrote.
The image was captured by the High-Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) aboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. It said the map is projected here at a scale of 50 centimeters (19.7 in) per pixel.
The post has garnered over 450,000 likes. Many users also commented on NASA’s post. One user wrote, ‘Looks like an alien footprint on Mars. Another user wrote, “Beauty is contained in all of God’s creation and the universe is no exception.”
