Nashik: Kin of employees working with labor welfare board who died while working during COVID-19 period, received assistance of Rs.30 lakh.
The assistance amount was presented to the relatives at the hands of District Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal.
Assistance provided through the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Labor, Nashik.
An assistance of Rs 30 lakh each was provided through the board to Hausabai Gangurde and Sunil Chavan, relatives of two employees on duty as security guards.
Bhujbal said that the assistance was provided to the family members in the form of respect and support for the work done by the deceased.
Bhujbal said, “Aid is not compensation as it cannot replace the deceased. It is a mark of respect for two persons serving the society.”
Board Chairman VN Mali, Secretary KK Joshi and others were present.
