National Street Food Festival in Delhi: If momos, aloo tikki and gol gappas are your favorite food and if you are someone who enjoys street food then we have some great news for you. Your weekend is going to be great, wondering why? Because Delhi is hosting the 12th National Street Food Festival. The food fest is returning to India after a gap of three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

National Street Food Festival Delhi: Date and Venue

The 12th edition of the food festival will be organized from January 13 to 15 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Gate No. 2). As per reports, 120 stalls will be set up at the venue serving cuisines from 28 states and union territories of India. These stalls will be set up zone-wise (East, West, North, South) to ease navigation.

You can book tickets from BOOKMYSHOW to enjoy delicious street food from different parts of the country. The ticket price is Rs 130 per person. The time of Anna Utsav will be from 12 noon to 10 pm.

About Street Food Festival of Delhi

According to a report on the festival, a website of the Ministry of Tourism, the focus of the National Street Food Festival is to bring together various street food delicacies across the country at one place. “It will focus on the diversity of cultures as well as help people reconnect with their cultural past. The festival will also help and revive the financial condition of the street vendors who faced a lot of problems in the CVOID period. It will bring them back the lost risk and help them make good revenue during these 3 days.”

The National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) has, in the past, organized the Street Food Festival with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) for the 2019 festival in association with Eat Right Mela.
