For the match, Shubman Gill broke Virat Kohli’s record century by hitting an unbeaten 104 as holders Gujarat Titans ousted Royal Challengers Bangalore from the IPL on Sunday.
The result allowed five-time winners Mumbai Indians to fill the fourth and final play-off spot after beating Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in the first match of the day.
Gill played a 52-ball innings in the final group match, which saw Gujarat win with five balls to spare.
Gill extended his second consecutive century by hitting the winning six.
