Prayagraj : Before the beginning of Chaitra NavratriMarkets in the city of Sangam are lit up and devotees have started buying essential items of worship and decorative items. The nine-day festival will start from April 2 and will continue till April 11.
Renowned astrologer Dr Amitabh Gaur told TOI that Navratri is one of the important Hindu festivals and the devotees will observe a fast for nine days. However, he said this year, Eighth Will fall on 9th April and Navami It will be celebrated on 10th April, 2022. Shubh Puja timings for Chaitra Navratri 2022 will start at 6:22 am and end at 8:31 am on April 2.
During this Chowk, Civil Lines, Katra, Sulemsarai, munderaRajapur and Mumfordganj are decorated with ornamental and worship materials. Traders told that devotees have started reaching the shops to buy essential items for worship. Apart from this, the temple authorities have also started the work of decorating the temple premises for the festival.
