The DGP along with Deputy Inspector General of Police M. Ravi Prakash, Sri Sathya Sai District Superintendent of Police Rahul Dev Singh and Anantapur SP Fakirappa Kaginelli inspected the district police office and other newly constructed facilities at Puttaparthi.

The DGP assured the personnel that all infrastructure and facilities would be provided for their effective functioning. Reviewing the crime situation in the district, he said that the incidents of cyber crime are increasing.

He said that all the police stations in the state would be linked to the ‘Cyber ​​Data Analytics’ wing and the process was already underway. This will have access to individual police stations, data centers in other states as well, he explained.

The DGP will inaugurate the Forensic Science Laboratory at the Police Training Center in Anantapur on Sunday. For the first time such a laboratory is being built in Rayalaseema. Till now the samples were to be sent to Hyderabad.
