Neeraj Chopra and YouTube India tied up to make a short film

New Delhi: Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra and YouTube India have tied up together to make a film for the platform, which aims to narrate the story of their meteorite from a village in Haryana’s Khandara to the top of the Olympic podium at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

JSW Sports, which has backed Chopra, has facilitated the partnership between the two.

Through this association, Chopra hopes to use the platform to create awareness about the sport of athletics and javelin amongst youth across the world.

Apart from setting up his own official YouTube channel, where he will put out regular content about his sports and life, Neeraj in partnership will be part of customized campaigns to inspire and inspire the next generation of India through his journey.

The athlete said, “When I became interested in javelin throwing as a sport, a lot of people didn’t even know what it was. It was hard to find CDs, watch broadcasts, or watch other athletes perform on YouTube. India Spotlight connected me with my game,” he said. The film is about four minutes long.
