Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra, who recently won a silver medal at the World Athletics Championships, will miss the upcoming Commonwealth Games 2022 due to fitness issues. Indian Olympic Association (IOA) general secretary Rajeev Mehta told Times Now that Chopra will not be able to play in the upcoming event as he is not 100% fit. IOA secretary general Rajeev Mehta told Times Now, “Neeraj Chopra will be ruled out of the Commonwealth Games as his fitness is not 100%. He has spoken to me about it and he has been advised rest for 20 days.”
