This year, NTA has added several security features that start with the registration and application form filling process. Application form edit window will be allowed for NEET also. However, the schedule has not been updated yet and is likely to be out soon.

gate pass: After the finalization of the application form, admit cards will be issued. NEET Admit Card will be available on the official website neet.nta.nic.in at least 10-15 days before the exam. Students can check their exam center and exam timing from their admit card along with other details.

After two years of having exam centers only in India, NTA has decided to set up 14 exam centers outside India. With this, foreign nationals and Indians living abroad will also be able to take the medical entrance exam.

Will the exam date change?

The deadline to fill the NEET 2022 application has been postponed twice earlier. This comes after the students demanded the delay in the examination and the conduct of the examination in August. Earlier, NTA also had to postpone JEE Main due to online protests by students, however, there has been no delay in the exam as of now. Students claim that NEET is clashing with other exams including CUET, giving negligible time to prepare.

Among Indians too, the number of applications is expected to increase as the officials have canceled the upper age limit for taking medical admission. Now, any person who has passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology will be able to take the exam. This is expected to increase competition.

To balance this, as a relaxation, the duration of the exam has been increased to 20 minutes. Now NEET will be an exam of three hours and 20 minutes. This question changes the basic fiber of the paper and it can prove to be quite a relief for the students. Experts claim that the option to keep 20 extra minutes would be a “game-changer”.
