NEET 2022 Result Out, What’s Next? Check Admission Process, Top Medical Colleges

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2022 The results were declared on September 7, 2022. Out of 17,64,571 examinees, a total of 9,93,069 candidates qualified for the biggest medical examination. India Enrolling a pass percentage of 56.27. Now, candidates who qualify the exam are eligible to appear for the NEET UG counseling round which is expected to start soon.

NEET 2022: Counseling Process

NEET counseling is likely to be conducted in four rounds. If seats still remain vacant, additional rounds may be announced. After the counseling link is activated first all the qualified candidates have to register themselves. The candidates will then have to select the college and course for which they wish to apply, based on which colleges will be allotted to the students and their NEET eligibility.

After the declaration of the first round of NEET counseling seat allotment list, if a candidate gets the college/course of choice, they need to deposit the fee and verify their documents to book the seat. If not, they can float to the seat and wait for the next round. Vacant seats will be captured in the next round. There will be no option of upgradation in the second round to the mop-up round.

Candidates appearing for the allotted seat in the second round of NEET 2022 counseling will not be allowed to resign or participate in any further rounds of counselling. The candidates who have not appeared in the second round from the allotted seat will be eligible for further rounds of counselling, provided the security deposit is forfeited and fresh registration is done in the mop-up round only.
