A delegation of Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA) held a meeting with Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Monday regarding NEET PG counseling 2021. Resident doctors have called for a nationwide protest over the delay in the counseling process. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2021.
In an official statement issued after the meeting, FORDA said that the Health Minister has taken note of their grievances and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) will mention the matter to the Supreme Court for an early hearing.

“He (Health Minister) also stated that MoHFW would try to get the matter related to NEET PG 2021 counseling and reservation policy to expedite the process,” the delegation wrote, however, the minister has not done so. The delegation said it would hold a virtual meeting with state resident doctor associations (RDAs) to decide “future course of action”. To the Minister of Health, on 4 December.

In the letter, the delegation said that Indian health institutions “are short of adequate staff of resident doctors, with no admissions yet in the current academic year.
