Now Ranbir’s mother is talking to an entertainment portal Neetu Kapoor has revealed that the couple were initially planning a destination wedding in South Africa in 2020. Special wedding ceremonies were planned at that time with thingsPanvel bungalow too. But due to the pandemic and several other factors, those plans did not materialise.
They finally got married on April 14 in a modest ceremony in the presence of family and close ones. Neetu has also revealed that both Ranbir and Alia didn’t want any circus around their wedding, so things were kept really quiet, only revealing that it was an engagement party.
The veteran actor also revealed that the entire wedding and pre-wedding rituals were like a dream. She further gave a glimpse into the details of the low key wedding, saying that there were only 40 guests on the wedding day and 40 friends during the wedding reception.
