New trailer for Robert Pattinson-starrer superhero film ‘The Batman’ drops on 2021 DC fandom – Times of India

The trailer gives a glimpse of Paul Dano’s The Riddler, although the character’s face was kept hidden.

There were moments where Pattinson was seen shaking hands with his opponents, and in one scene, he walks into a room facing continuous gunfire.

Pattinson and Kravitz joined Reeves for a panel discussion before the trailer was released.

Pattinson said this version of the Caped Crusader is a man who is “a little out of control”.

“He doesn’t have as much control over his personality, as it’s not so obvious when he’s Batman and when he’s Bruce… In other kinds of iterations, he knows exactly what he’s doing. when he is putting on the cowl,” the actor said.

Kravitz said she wanted to introduce a “real human being” with Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman.

“I understand the seriousness of a character like this and what it means to so many people, but what really felt important was to really focus on the story we’re telling in this moment, and Try to be a real human being.

“I don’t, I don’t want him to be a thought. I want him to be a real human being in a real situation in a real city and trying to react and react to his pain. So I really really Focused on this special story at this special moment in this woman’s life,” she added.

Reeves said that the film differs significantly from the character’s other origin stories.

“The Batman” will also star Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Barry Keoghan, Andy Serkis and Colin Farrell.

The film will release in the US on March 4, 2022.
