NIIT Institute of Finance, Banking and Insurance (NIIT IFBI) in association with Axis Bank – NIIT Digital Banking Academy has launched a Fintech Engineering program for experienced IT professionals. It provides an opportunity to graduates with minimum one year of experience to become a fintech professional and join Freecharge as Deputy Manager (IT).
The 12 week program is immersive in nature, where learners undertake tasks of equal complexity as they would in their role. Upon successful completion of this programme, learners will be positioned as frontend or backend application developers in fintech roles at FreeCharge.

The course will consist of a common foundation module, upon completion of which, candidates will go through modules related to Frontend Developer or Backend Developer roles. The course will conclude with a project where candidates will apply and demonstrate the competencies they have gained in the course.
“Overall, the program will include live projects and extensive exercises and mentoring to enable candidates to gain experience and confidence in their role,” the bank said.
