In the pictures posted by Dilip Joshi, Niyati was seen in a traditional off white saree with a contrast red blouse. He had put Matha Patti and fresh flowers on his bun. His gray hair is clearly visible in the pictures. This led some people to comment whether it was her natural hair or was intentional for the sake of fashion. Even his brother’s white hair in one picture went unnoticed.
While many of them were confused, there were others who praised her for being confident and letting go of her grayness. One user commented, “It’s called simplicity…he brought them up like this.”
Another user wrote, “Thank you for sporting your gray hair and dyeing it because of societal pressure. I think it’s so important that we give ourselves the natural look and embrace that we are on special occasions too. More power to you.”
There were many congratulatory comments. And some of them were hilarious too. One user jokingly wrote, “Firstborn uncle, I didn’t even know you were married! Congratulations to the lovely couple!”
A section also commented on his English in the caption. One wrote, “Hey Jetha ji so much English how aapko aapko (Hey Jetha ji, from where did you learn English)?” Another began, “Baap re baap itni english lagta hai babita ji saath hai tabi bandar gulati maar ra ra hai (Oh my god, it seems Babita ji is around you, hence, you are able to write posts like this) ”
Talking about the wedding, it was kept at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai. It was attended by the entire cast Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah These include Palak Sandhwani, Ambika Ranjankar and Sunayna Fozdar.
