‘No one is safe’ – Opposition questions law and order in Tamil Nadu, DMK groups clash, constable injured

Trichy: The ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in Tamil Nadu was in for an embarrassment on Wednesday as alleged supporters of two senior party leaders – Minister for Municipal Administration, Urban and Water Supply KN Nehru and Member of Parliament (MP) Tiruchi Siva – clashed in the capital. ‘Black flag protest, vehicle vandalized, and policemen injured’

According to police sources, Shiva’s supporters present near the MP’s Trichy residence on Wednesday showed black flags to Nehru’s cavalcade as the minister was on his way to an event to which Shiva was not invited.
