No RT-PCR test for passengers traveling from Kerala to Karnataka. Mangaluru News – Times of India

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District administration has closed all RT-PCR checking booths Kerala , Karnataka District boundary.
The decision in this regard was taken on the basis of the circular issued by the Karnataka government on Thursday.
TK Anil Kumar, Principal Secretary health Department In Karnataka, a circular was issued waiving the mandate of negative RT-PCR reports for those coming from Goa and Kerala.
Deputy Commissioner Dr KV Rajendra Said that RT-PCR checking booths will remain closed. However, inter-state check posts for verification of vaccination certificates of travelers from Kerala will continue. He said that about 90% of the population has already been covered by two doses of the vaccine.
