“No Screaming, No Phones”: US Teacher Turns Classroom Into Boxing Ring

A school teacher in Florida has been arrested for allegedly organizing student fights in the classroom new york post, Angel Footman watched from behind his desk as Griffin Middle School students senselessly attacked each other, and even told them not to record the fight or get attention by shouting. The outlet further stated in its report that she has been slapped with four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. However, the 23-year-old denied organizing the fights but admitted failing to report them.

He was arrested and released on Friday. His arraignment is scheduled for next month, Post reports said, citing court records.

She came under the police radar when several Class 6 girls alerted school administrators that the teacher had turned their classroom into a “secret boxing ring”.

The girls told police that they participated in arranged fights during school hours and were also called back for additional fights. Fight Club had four rules: “30 seconds, no screaming, no yelling, no phone calls”. Miami Herald,

But some parents presented video evidence showing the girls strangling each other while Ms Footman stood nearby or sat at her desk.

Three school administrators also identified the teacher’s voice in the recording, where she said: “Stop hair pulling” and “Break it”.

Ms Footman told police she did not organize the fight, but failed to call for help or stop the brawl or report it to school administrators.

The Herald said that if found guilty, the footman could be jailed for up to one year for each charge.
