No time to rest, prepare for 2024: PM Modi meets Yogi cabinet, praises ‘bulldozer drive’, law enforcement

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a brainstorming session with the Yogi Adityanath cabinet of Uttar Pradesh in Lucknow on Monday evening. During the meeting with the ministers of UP, the PM said that only good governance opens the way to power. Along with this, he asked all the ministers of the state to dedicate themselves more in the service of the public. The prime minister also told the UP cabinet that there is no time left for rest and everyone should start preparing for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, News18 has learned.

Sources said PM Modi also lauded the Yogi Adityanath government’s “bulldozer campaign” against the criminals.

During a conversation with the ministers of UP, the PM said that the law and order situation in the state has improved under Yogi Adityanath and he congratulated the Chief Minister for this. He also appreciated the efforts of the BJP-led state government for COVID management.

PM Modi also asked the ministers to spend maximum time in their respective areas and implement the programs of the government. According to sources, he said that it should be ensured that the government schemes reach all those who are eligible.

At the same time, the Prime Minister advised all the ministers including CM Yogi that it is necessary to work in harmony between the government and the organization, because both are complementary to each other.

Earlier on Monday, PM Modi visited Lumbini, Nepal, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha, on the occasion of Buddha Purnima. He also held bilateral talks with his Nepalese counterpart Sher Bahadur Deuba.

In the evening the Prime Minister returned to Kushinagar where he performed a program of worship at the Mahaparinirvana Sthali temple of Gautam Buddha. After that he left for Lucknow.

On his arrival, Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed him.

After the meeting with the Yogi cabinet, the Prime Minister posed for a group photo with CM Yogi, Deputy Chief Ministers Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya and other ministers at the Chief Minister’s official residence at 5 Kalidas Marg in Lucknow.
