Noida sets February 15 deadline to check public toilets, Stps | Noida News – Times of India

Noida: The Noida Authority February 15 has been set as the deadline for field survey and investigation on public toilets (PTs), community toilets (CTs) and urinals with sewer drain connections.
It stipulated similar time limits for functional sewage treatment plants (STPs) and use of STP-treated water for horticulture and construction purposes.
Teams have been deployed to conduct the survey and submit the report by February 15.
The Noida authority has earned Rs 86 crore from water bills against the target of Rs 70 crore last year, accounting for more than 16% of all consumers’ revenue.
“We have generated over 16% revenue for water bills, while our initial target was Rs 70 crore. Meanwhile in the meeting organized by the CEO Ritu Maheshwari Earlier this week, the deadline for completing field surveys for all CTs, PTs and urinals in the city has been set. For this, the teams of Public Health Department have been instructed to conduct field inspection of all toilets and ensure their proper operation including water sewer connection etc. said RP SinghDeputy General Manager Water and Sewer, Noida Authority.
