Noon Kumar did not make Tej Yadav his successor, I leave the rebellion: Upendra Kushwaha

He said that the people of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) say that there was a “deal” (agreement) at the time of formation of the Grand Alliance, due to which there has been chaos within JDU. Kushwaha said that he can put the brakes on jobs only by announcing that he is not supporting him as a leader in the 2025 Bihar assembly elections.

Kushwaha, who left the JDU by merging the Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RSLP) in the year 2021, claimed that he had nothing to do with leading the party’s leadership. Kushwaha said, “But if the current situation continues, this party will sink.” The dark age of Bihar was brought out. There is a cloud over his legacy.

When asked about the allegation that he was working on a brokerage, Kushwaha replied, “What difference does it make whether the BJP or the Muslim League is behind me.” He also claimed that Vishal, who is now in his 70s, is not able to take decisions himself, but is being influenced by “the words of two-three close people”.

When Kushwaha was asked clearly that he was talking about relationships, he refused to name anyone. Meanwhile, R Zuni criticized Kushwaha for opening a front against Yadav, the younger son of its founding president Lalu Prasad and considered his political successor.

R JD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari said, “Yes, there was an agreement last year when Bhartiji came with us. This pact was to fight against the opposition to the Constitution being signed by the BJP at the Centre. But, Kushwaha should disclose to whom he has given his heart these days. Are they still socialist or have they compromised with communal forces?”

The RJD spokesperson said, “There is no use in declaring anyone as a leader. Leaders perform their duties humbly with the blessings of the people.
