Team RRR is gearing up for the big day with hopes of taking home the big trophy. The team is roaring at the award shows and continues its winning streak. In January, ‘Naatu Naatu’ won a Golden Globe in the ‘Best Original Song’ category. Five days later, ‘RRR’ won two more awards at the 28th edition of the Critics’ Choice Awards. The film won four trophies at the 2023 Hollywood Critics Association Awards. Earlier, it was reported that the Oscar-nominated song Naatu Naatu from SS Rajamouli’s RRR will be performed at the 95th Academy Awards. However, on the big day, instead of Ram Charan and Jr NTR, American dancers will perform on the song.

Our Indian singer will be performing the RRR song on stage for exactly two and a half minutes, and music director MM Keeravani is supervising the performance. This song will be performed live by Rahul Sipliganj and Kaal Bhairav. Rickie Minor is the music director for the Oscars in 2023, and Keeravani will be working with him on the final performance of Naatu Naatu.

In conversation with Variety, MM Keeravani talked about the Oscar performance and said, “It’s a combination or singers, actors from India and a lot of dancers from LA; so it’s going to be great teamwork.”

Meanwhile, cross-cultural hits range from “This Is a Life” to “Everything Everywhere All at Once”, “Tell It Like a Woman” and “Lift Me Up” to “Applause”. Also nominated in the Original Song category. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” are all part of the scheduled performances for the 95th annual event, Variety reported.

Talking about Naatu Naatu, the song was released as ‘Naacho Naacho’ in Hindi, ‘Nattu Koothu’ in Tamil, ‘Halli Naatu’ in Kannada and ‘Karinthol’ in Malayalam. Its Hindi version was sung by Rahul Sipligunj and Vishal Mishra. What makes this song appeal to the masses is its universal appeal through its joyful vibe and dance step hook that is a rage. In addition, the country’s culture is reflected in the songs, with each line evoking feelings about the country’s food and flora and fauna.
