Directed by Hemant Awatade along with Nagraj Manjule, the film stars Sayaji Shinde, Harshal Gire and Somnath Khachhe in lead roles.

The Marathi film Ghar Banduk Biryani starring Sayaji Shinde was released on 7 April. The film has been creating a buzz among the audience ever since its release. Directed by Hemant Awatade along with Nagraj Manjule, the film stars Sayaji Shinde, Harshal Gire and Somnath Khachhe in lead roles. Other cast of the film includes Kishore Kadam, Suraj Panwar, Sayali Patil, Akash Thosar, Tanaji Galgunde, Praveen Dalimbkar and many more.

Produced by Bhushan Manjule in association with Nagraj Manjule, the story of the film revolves around funny and thrilling incidents in the life of someone fighting for their rights. With music composed by Vaibhav Deshmukh and AV Prafullachandra, the film’s cinematography is handled by Vikram Amladi.

So far, the film has received mixed reviews from the critics as well as the audience. Now, Marathi actor Kiran Mane has also shared a post expressing his opinion about the film. In the post, the actor praised the performances of the film’s cast.

Sharing the post, he wrote, “The film is good, not that bad. I enjoyed it to some extent. Anna (Nagraj Manjule) is trolled on social media by both the trollers and their henchmen. The main reason for watching the film was the strong acting of Sayaji Shinde, Sally Patil and Akash Tosar. Along with this, songs like Aha Hero and Ha Ki Badev became special targets. But the film slows down somewhere in the middle, which makes the audience feel uncomfortable.

He further added, “I decided to watch the film a little late because I didn’t want to prejudge the commotion. The general audience should not be bored. Yet it also disappoints him and the connoisseurs a lot. It’s not boring, but it would have been more interesting”.

The story of the Marathi film ‘Ghar Banduk Biryani’ is based on the character of Raju Acharya. He is the ‘real’ hero of the story. If the makers had roped in talented actors who were not well known and restricted them to a few scenes, the film would have been far more interesting. There is no doubt that director Hemant Avtade can do something amazing in the future. Best wishes to him,” he added.

On the career front, Kiron Mane is known for films like Ravrambha, Swarajya, Apharan and Takatak 2. The actor has also been an integral part of TV series including Mulgi Zali Ho and Majya Mitrachi Girlfriend. Now, he is all set to star in the upcoming film Raarambh.
