In Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), now all the candidates will get five chances instead of three.

State government servants will now be able to participate in competitive examinations conducted by Bihar Public Service Commission, Bihar Staff Selection Commission and Technical Service Commission maximum five times in their entire service period.

The development came after it was approved in a meeting of the state cabinet chaired by the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday. It may be noted that earlier there was a provision to sit for a maximum of three times in the competitive examination, which has been increased. Similarly, for appearing in competitive examinations, Bihar government servants will continue to get relaxation of five years in the maximum age limit fixed for regular appointment as before.

27 posts approved in engineering colleges

Recently, Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) released a recruitment notification for the applicants who are willing to apply for the 68th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination to recruit individuals for various civil services in the state. The recruitment has been announced for the vacancy of 27 academic posts in various engineering colleges of the state. For Computer Science and Engineering, there will be five posts in Bhagalpur and two each in Gaya and Darbhanga Engineering Colleges. Also 12 fire posts technology At the same time, six safety courses will be made in Darbhanga and in Bakhtiyarpur Engineering College.

Candidates who are willing to apply for the above posts can do so by visiting the official website on or before the last date, which is December 20, 2022.
