Nykaa IPO gray market premium up 70 percent

The subscription for the Rs 5,352 crore IPO will end on November 1. The share price of Nykaa is Rs 1,085-1,125. The market lot size for Nykaa IPO is 12 shares. A retail investor can bid for a minimum of 1 lot and a maximum of 14 lots. At higher cut off, the price of one lot will be Rs 13,500.

Shares of Nykaa are trading at a strong premium in the gray market. Nykaa’s unlisted shares are trading at a premium of Rs 700 per share, which is nearly 70 per cent higher than the bid price.

The Nykaa IPO allotment will be finalized on November 8. The Nykaa shares will be credited to the demat accounts of the successful bidders on November 1.

The shares of Nykaa will be listed on BSE and NSE. Shares of Nykaa will debut on the Indian stock exchanges on November 11.

The Nykaa IPO consists of a fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs 630 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 41,972,660 equity shares by the promoter and existing shareholders. The Sellers of Shares in OFS are – Promoter Sanjay Nair Family Trust and Shareholders – TPG Growth IV SF Pte Ltd, Lighthouse India Fund III, Ltd., Lighthouse India III Employees Trust, Yogesh Agencies & Investments, JM Financial & Investment Consultancy Services and some individual shareholders.

Nykaa IPO raised Rs 2,396 crore from anchor investors before the IPO.

Nykaa said it plans to use the proceeds from the IPO for expansion by setting up new retail stores and new warehouses. It also plans to pay down some of its debt, which should bring down interest costs, and further increase its profitability.

Nykaa also plans to deploy the proceeds of the IPO to marketing and promotional activities to focus on establishing and promoting new brands as well as strengthening its 13 owned brands such as Nykaa Cosmetics, Nykaa Naturals and Kay Beauty. Used to be.

Nykaa has a diverse portfolio of beauty, personnel care and fashion products including its proprietary manufactured brand products under its two business verticals – Nykaa and Nykaa Fashion.
