Odisha 10th result 2022: 90.55% students declared passed, 8119 secure A1 grade – Times of India

BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Wednesday declared the results of Class X annual examination 2022. 90.55% students passed the high school certificate exam conducted in offline mode after a gap of two years due to the Covid pandemic.

In April, a total of 5,26,818 students appeared in the matriculation examination in 8925 schools, out of which 5,17,817 students passed the examination due to the fear of the third wave of Kovid.

A total of 1170 schools have scored 100% result while three schools have given zero result.

Girls outperformed boys as 2,60,970 girls passed with a pass percentage of 92.37%, while 2,56,877 boys passed with a pass percentage of 88.77%.

School and Mass Education Minister Sameer Ranjan Dash said after releasing the results, “I would like to congratulate all our teachers, who have done continuous classroom teaching for hundred days, due to which the results have been excellent.” “We may not need to follow the revised evaluation scheme in the current academic session, a decision on which will be taken later,” the minister said.

This year 8119 students passed in AI grade (over 90%), while 54,889 students passed in A2 grade (80-90%), 1, 20, 312 students passed in B1 grade (70-80%) , while 1,42, 599 students passed in B2 grade (above 60%).

School and mass education secretary Bishnupada Sethi said, “Despite the disruption in classroom study, the state government had decided to revise the evaluation process and adopted an innovative method of calculation of marks. We are happy that the students have adapted to the new system. is accepted.”

Jagatsinghpur district secured the highest pass rate of 96.36 per cent, while Malkangiri district secured the lowest pass rate of 83.03 per cent.

Unsatisfied students can apply for rechecking of marks from July 11 to 25.

79.78 percent students have passed in State Open School while 80.06 percent students have passed in Madhyamik examination.
