Students in Class 10 can fill out the Odisha HSC application form for the board exams to be held next year through their heads of institutions at bseodisha.ac.in

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) of Odisha has released the Class 10 Higher School Certificate (HSC) exam forms for the 2024 board exams. Students in Class 10 can fill out the HSC application form for the board exams to be held next year through their heads of institutions at bseodisha.ac.in. According to the official notification, the application deadline for the 2024 HSC Odisha board exams is September 30. The link will stay open until 11:45 p.m. The Odisha Class 10 exams are slated to begin on February 20, 2024.

As per the board, students from approved secondary schools in the state who have been promoted to Class 10 based on their results in the Class 9 examination 2022–23 can fill out application forms for the HSC examination 2024. Further, students who have enrolled in the Board’s Correspondence Course must fill out forms to appear in the Class-10 HSC examination, 2024, in the CC Regular category.

The school principals must log in to the Odisha Board website using their specific school codes and passwords and submit the student registration. In order to complete the Class 10 HSC exam form-filling process, the candidates’ pictures and full signatures are required to be uploaded. It is advised that the students fill out the exam form details correctly, or their application will be rejected.

The students should note that the subject of the application filled out by the Head of Institutions cannot be modified afterward. The board stated, “The last date for submission of application form shall not be extended this year. Hence, log-in authorities are instructed to complete the form fill-up work well in advance and not wait for the rush at the fag end,” read the official notice. In case there are any difficulties when filling out online application forms for the BSE HSC class 10 exams, the authorities may contact the Odisha board.

Every year, over 5 lakh students take the Odisha Class 10 board exams. Reportedly, last year, the overall pass rate for Class 10 was 96.40 per cent. Those who did not pass the main exam were permitted to take the supplementary exam.
