Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik approved Rs 2000 crore masterplan for the transformation of Veer Surendra Sai Technological University (VSSUT) Burla. The state government has set a target to develop it into a multidisciplinary engineering and research university by 2030. The upgradation program will be done under the 5T initiative of the state government. The upgraded school will offer 24 engineering programs under 14 departments with 27 centers of excellence within the institute.
