Koraput: Popular singer based in Jeypore Murli Mohapatra (59) died after falling while performing in a cultural program organized by Jaipur Dussehra Puja Committee on Sunday night.

Mahapatra was performing a song from an Oriya film at an event held in Raja Chaki Minutes after completing the puja pandal and singing it collapsed. He was taken to the district headquarters hospital, but was declared brought dead.
