Ola Electric Scooter Sales: Ola Electric Scooters worth Rs 1,100 crore sold in 2 days, bookings resume in November – times of India

New Delhi: Ola Electric President Bhavish Agarwal On Friday, the company announced that the company has sold electric scooters worth Rs 1,100 crore in two days from the start of procurement.
Taking to Twitter, Agarwal said, “Day 2 of the EV era was even better than Day 1! Crossed ₹1100 cr mark in 2 days! Buying window will re-open on 1st Nov, so if you haven’t already done so now! Reserve.”
Customers who have booked the scooter with a token amount of Rs 499 will have to spend Rs 20,000 as an advance amount to complete the purchase process. Hailstone The sales of the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters have been temporarily suspended.
Without quantifying the units sold, Agarwal said on Wednesday that 4 Ola e-scooters are sold every second.
Commenting on the delivery, Varun Dubey, CMO, Ola Electric told CNN-IBN, “Mid-October is when we will start the deliveries. The exact date the customer receives is based on when they made the purchase. ”
Without commenting on the production timeline, Dubey said that the Phase-I of Ola Futurefactory is ready and the company is aiming to start production on time to meet the commitments.
The Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters are priced at Rs 99,000 and Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
