Ola S1 electric scooter launched in India, priced at Rs 1 lakh, 141 km range

Ola Electric has launched the Ola S1 electric scooter in the Indian market at a price of Rs 99,999. Apart from this, the company has started booking for the new scooter model at a price of Rs 499. It is to be noted that consumers can buy the scooter from September 2 onwards and the new electric scooter is already on sale alongside the Ola S1 Pro. Indian market. The Ola S1 was announced at the time of the launch of the Ola S1 Pro, however, bookings were opened only for the more premium scooter due to limited production capacity. The Ola S1 is a more affordable version of the Ola S1 Pro.

In terms of design, the Ola S1 looks very similar to the S1 Pro and is based on this platform. The new electric scooter has the same smooth looking body as the S1 Pro, with seamless curves. Apart from this, the electric scooter will be available for sale in four colors – Jet Black, Liquid Silver, Porcelain White and Neo Mint.

Talking about the features and technology of the scooter, it is similar to Ola S1 Pro. It gets features like Bluetooth connectivity, a navigation system, and more. In addition, it gets the same Move OS software that can be updated to Move OS 3, which the electric vehicle maker has promised to launch on Diwali. Apart from this, he also promised to launch more hyper chargers for faster charging of scooters.

Now in terms of power, the Ola S1 is powered by 3 KWh and an ARAI-certified range of 141 km on a single charge. In addition to this, the scooter now offers three riding modes, namely Eco Mode, Normal Mode and Sports Mode. The scooter gives a range of 128 km in Eco mode, 101 km in Normal mode and 90 km in Sports mode.

Meanwhile, Ola Electric has launched a new Khakhi color variant as a limited edition of the Ola S1 Pro. Let us tell you that only 1947 units of the limited edition electric scooter will be sold in India. This is not the first time that the company has launched a limited edition color variant of the scooter. Earlier, Ola S1 Pro was sold in ocher color on Holi.
