Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on September 25 announced that 75 different programs on parliamentary democracy will be held in different parts of the country as the platinum jubilee of Indian independence marks the completion of 100 years of Speakers Conference. The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has completed its 100 years this year. There will be a summit of PAC President, some of its important members, presiding officers and PAC Presidents from important countries in Delhi on 4-5 December.
