Mumbai: EV Manufacturers Omega Seki Mobility ,OSM) has partnered with europe aid (EAI) will offer round the clock roadside assistance to create a safer environment for its entire range of vehicles and consumers. The roadside assistance program will include a range of features, such as on-the-spot repair, towing assistance after breakdown, accident towing, towing beyond coverage/on-site repair, battery recharge/charging points, breakdown support over the phone, etc. ,
It will also help the customer to find the nearest customer authorized garage/dealer, SMS service, user conference calling, emergency message transmission assistance, OSM said in a release.
In addition, on-spot repairs will include onsite minor repairs, battery jump-starts, tire problems, locked vehicles or lost keys and fuel delivery.
“Going a step further towards making India fully EV-enabled, we want our customers to step into their EVs without any worry of on-road breakdowns. This quick-to-act service is sure to help. The journey and experience of our customers with our EVs will be very useful for us.” Uday Narang, Founder and President, Omega Seki Mobility said.
Deepak Luthra, Automotive Head, Europe Assistance, said the tie-up will serve as a quick, easy option for customers, thereby relieving them of all the worries of roadside malfunctions of their vehicles.
“A prompt assistance plan of action has been laid down by the OSM and EAI. On receipt of a call from the customer for specific issues with the vehicle, a quick, first attempt will be made to resolve the issue over the phone.
“If the issue is not resolved over the phone, the customer will be offered immediate activation of services. In addition, the contact details of the nearest customer authorized garage/dealer will also be made available to the customer,” he added.
Luthra said special provisions would also be introduced for holding a conference call between the customer and the authorized service provider to ensure seamless and speedy delivery of services. PTI IAS Bal Bali
