Amid the rise in the COVID-19 cases after the Omicron version of the coronavirus, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel while addressing the media informed that he is looking into the COVID-19 situation in the state. Baghel said that he is not in favor of banning economic activities for now. He also assured that the government would take a decision on imposing restrictions in view of the pandemic situation in the state. “I don’t think there is a need to impose restrictions on economic activities right now and there is no need to create any containment zones. We will take any further decision after seeing the COVID situation in the state and the country,” said CM Bhupesh Baghel.
