The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today announced the Class 12 and Class 10 board exams, marking the end of a long year for students and parents. Students and parents faced many challenges this year due to the COVID pandemic. This year the overall pass percentage in class 12 fell to 92.71 percent.
After the result was declared, social media was flooded with congratulatory messages and #cbseclass12 and #CBSEResults2022 started trending on Twitter for several hours. Various memes and jokes also started with this announcement.

For the first time, the CBSE exam was conducted in two terms. While the first term was held in November-December 2021, the second term was held in May-June.
The marks in the first term have been given 30 percent weightage while the marks in the second term have been given 70 percent weightage.
