Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said that the Adani Group is on track to become the world’s largest renewable energy generation company by 2030. Speaking at an event at JP Morgan, Adani said that the group is already the world’s largest solar power player when we are responsible for our production, under construction and contracted projects.

“We have done this in just two years and our renewable portfolio has reached our initial target of 25GW, a full four years ahead of schedule. This sets us on track to become the world’s largest renewable energy generation company by 2030. It also opens up many new avenues for us, including establishing us as one of the largest green hydrogen producers in the world, Adani said.

Adani announced that by 2025 more than 75 percent of our planned capital expenditure will be in green technologies. “We will increase our renewable energy generation capacity from 21 percent to 63 percent over the next four years. No company is manufacturing at this scale,” he said.

“Over the next 10 years, we will invest more than $20 billion in renewable energy generation, component manufacturing, transmission and distribution,” Adani said. Adani said, “We are now India’s largest private sector electricity producer, largest private port operator, largest private airport operator, largest private consumer gas and electric utility business, largest private power transmission company and largest in renewable energy. There are big infrastructure developers.”

“In just the last eight years, we’ve acquired more than 50 assets worth about $12 billion. Each one of these has been successful and we keep getting better at integrating the acquisitions we’ve made. It’s a rare ability that’s worth having.” We have made it,” Adani said.

With regard to the digital business, Adani said upcoming new businesses will include all of our digital-related enterprises that now span data centers, industrial clouds and Adani Digital Labs.

“Earlier this year we established Adani Digital Labs as a part of Adani Enterprises to be able to provide a unified experience to all our end users. Today, our end user base is growing at a rate of 15 per cent. One Adani consumer on our digital platform, we will potentially have over one billion consumers by 2030,” Adani said.

He said, “I have little doubt that every B2C business we do will operate on a mobile platform. Therefore, the consumer insights we gain through a unified platform will set us on the path to building our own SuperApp platform. ” .
