Once political rival Dushyant Chautala campaigned for Kuldeep Bishnoi’s son in Adampur

Despite the previous political rivalry between the Bhajanlal and Devi Lal families, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Monday campaigned for BJP leader Kuldeep Bishnoi’s son Bhavya for the Adampur bypoll on November 3.

Chautala addressed a rally at Balsamand village in Adampur here and appealed to the people to vote for Bhavya and make her the winner with a huge margin. He assured the villagers that the development of the area would be further accelerated in the coming days.

Kuldeep Bishnoi, the younger son of former chief minister Bhajan Lal, had resigned from the seat and joined the BJP in August, leaving the Congress, following which a by-election had to be held. His son had also left the Congress and joined the BJP.

The Deputy Chief Minister also said that the opposition only practices politics of “confusion, lies and deceit”.

On Congress, he said that everyone knows its condition and the people of Adampur will ensure its massive defeat in the by-elections.

Later, while interacting with the media in Balsamand, Chautala said that Congress leaders are talking about India Jodo, but first they should “unify their party which is completely disorganized”.

Referring to the party unit in Haryana, he said that everyone knows about factionalism in the Congress.

He said, factionalism has also come to the fore in the Adampur by-election. Where are Congress leaders Kumari Selja, Randeep Singh Surjewala and Kiran Choudhary? They still haven’t come to Adampur to campaign for the Congress candidate.

Chautala also took a dig at former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his MP son Deepender Singh Hooda, saying the Congress has now become a “father-son party” in Haryana.

On this occasion, Bhavya Bishnoi said that Dushyant Chautala has achieved success in the political field due to his dedication, hard work and positive thinking.

He said that he was inspired by the JJP leader and urged all the youth to take inspiration from him. Notably, Kuldeep Bishnoi was recently questioned about not participating in the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) election campaign and any tension in the BJP-JJP alliance.

Kuldeep replied to this question, “No, there is no such thing. Our alliance is very good and there is no tension… We are fighting this election jointly and we will win.” are of great grandson.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Hisar, Brijendra Singh, son of Dushyant Chautala of JJP, a senior BJP leader, and Bhavya, who was then in the Congress, contested against each other. Brijendra had won the seat as the BJP won all the 10 Lok Sabha seats in the state in the parliamentary elections.
