Mohan Bhagwat was speaking at an award function organized by the Rajratna Award Committee
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday said that there is a multitude of ideas in the “good countries” of the world and one ideology or one person cannot make or break a country.
He was speaking at an award ceremony organized by the Rajratna Award Committee here.
Bhagwat said, ‘One person, one idea, one group, one ideology can neither make nor break a country.’
“There are all kinds of ideas in the good countries of the world. They also have all kinds of systems, and they’re growing with this multitude of systems,” he said.
Speaking about the Bhonsle family, the erstwhile royal family of Nagpur, he said it was associated with the RSS from the time of KB Hedgewar, the founder of the Sangh.
While Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj established ‘Swarajya’ (sovereign state) and Southern India Nagpur was free from atrocities during his time, East and North India were free from atrocities under the rule of the Bhonsle family, he said.
