Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has released job advertisement for more than 3600 Apprentice posts. Candidates interested in apprenticeship training with ONGC should apply through official website ongcindia.com. The last date to apply is 15th May till 6 pm.
The recruitment drive intends to fill up 3614 posts with 209 in Northern Zone, 305 in Mumbai Zone, 1434 in Western Zone, 744 in Eastern Zone, 694 in Southern Zone and 228 in Central Zone. As per the official notification, the number of seats available and the posts are tentative and subject to change based on the needs of the work center.

Trainees will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. In case of equal number in the merit list, preference will be given to the person of higher age.
ONGC Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
age: As of May 15, individuals must be at least 18 years of age and not more than 24 years of age to register. That is, the date of birth of the candidate should be between 15 May 1998 to 15 May 2004.
Age Relaxation for Reserved Category: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. Candidates belonging to PwBD categories will be given a relaxation of up to 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST candidates and up to 13 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates).

It should be mentioned that the period of training for all the posts offered is 12 months.
ONGC Recruitment 2022: Stipend
The trainees will be given a monthly stipend between Rs 7,700 to Rs 9,000. They are not entitled to reimbursement for any boarding or accommodation expenses incurred during the training time. ONGC will also not provide any financial assistance for transportation.
