Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the BJP in the Prime Minister. Vadra also said that only ruling party leaders and their “billionaire friends” are safe in the country. “Modi ji bought two planes for himself last year for Rs 16,000 crore. He sold this country’s entire Air India for just Rs 18,000 crore. This billionaire friend,” he said of the sale of debt-ridden national carrier Air India to Tata Sons Commenting on said.
He alleged that people can be of any caste and religion, they are not safe. “In this country, the Prime Minister, his Council of Ministers, his party people and his billionaire friends are safe. Get it right. The country is suffering,” the Congress leader said.
Before the rally, Priyanka went to Kashi Vishwanath and Kushmanda temples. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also offered prayers at Kashi Vishwanath temple. Various religions were offered prayers in the rally.
