Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has invited applications from candidates to apply for 4070 Nursing Officer posts. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through the official website of OSSSC, osssc.gov.in. The registration process will start from May 14 and will continue till June 7.
The candidates will be hired for 30 District Establishments and 13 Medical Colleges and Hospitals under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Odisha.

OSSSC Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications: Candidates willing to apply must have passed class 12 or its equivalent with Diploma in GNM or B.Sc from any Medical College or Hospital approved by Indian Nursing Council. They should also be able to speak, read and write Odia.
Age Range: Candidates age should be between 21 to 38 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC, ST, SEBC and women candidates and up to 10 years for PWD category candidates.

OSSSC Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through a written test consisting of 100 questions in total and 100 marks in total. The time duration of the exam is two hours. The date of examination will be notified later. The exam will consist of Class 12 English, and Mathematics syllabus. There will be questions based on GNM or B.Sc Nursing syllabus as well as practical skills. The format is MCQs. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong attempt or multiple answers. Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list and verification of original documents.
OSSSC Recruitment 2022: Salary
Candidates selected for the posts of Nursing Officer will get a salary of Rs 15,000 initially and later between Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300.
