Our party will end; President’s post will not be accepted: Mayawati

Lucknow : “How can I accept a post when we know it will be the end of our party?”, BSP chief Mayawati It was heard clarifying that she would not accept the post of president from any party. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) have spread false rumours.

This statement of Mayawati has come when her party had to face a humiliating defeat in the elections. Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections were held last month. The BJP-led coalition won a sweeping victory and Yogi Adityanath was reinstated as the chief minister for the second time in a row.

President Ram Nath Kovind’s term ends on July 24 and elections for the post are to be held before that.

“I want to make it clear to everyone BSP Office Bearer that in the interest of our party and movement, I will not accept any offer for the post of President from BJP or other parties and they should never be misled in future,” said Mayawati, who is a disciple of Kanshi Ram. . He had refused this position in the past as well.

The BSP chief promised that she would spend every moment of her life in strengthening the party across the country and urged its members not to despair.

In this election, the BJP through its RSS organization, through a well thought out strategy and conspiracy, has falsely propagated among our people that if the BSP government is not formed in UP, then we will make your ‘sister’ as the President. of the country That’s why you should let the BJP come to power,” Mayawati said while discussing the reasons for her party’s defeat.

She said, ‘Let me talk about becoming the President, I cannot even dream of such a thing. They (BJP) also know that Kanshi Ramji had rejected this offer long back and I am his firm disciple.’

The BSP got only one seat out of 403 in the recently held assembly elections, while it got 19 seats in 2017.

Addressing a state-level meeting held at the party’s state office here, Mayawati also alleged that instead of providing employment to the poor, the BJP gave free ration and made them ‘lachar’ (helpless) and ‘gulam’ (slave).

He said that apart from members of his Jatav caste, who belong to other castes in the Dalit community, they should also be “excluded from Hindutva” and brought back to the BSP.

Mayawati said that despite claiming the votes of the Muslim community and forging alliances with dozens of organizations and parties, the SP is far from coming to power.

In such a situation, now the SP can never come back to power here, nor can this party stop the BJP from coming to power.

Mayawati claimed that Muslims are ‘repenting’ after voting for SP.

“They (Muslims) should not commit any such mistake which will further strengthen the BJP. I strongly appeal to him in this regard.

“We have to make every effort to bring out the directionless people from the clutches of SP and bring them back in our party. Now all other Hindu communities have to be linked with BSP cadre like in 2007,” he said.

Mayawati said that to bring her party back to power in UP, she is ready for a fierce struggle and confrontation with all ‘casteist, capitalist and feudal forces’.

“Now every moment of my life will be spent in strengthening my party at every level across the country,” he said.
