According to Dhaval Udani, founder of Danamojo, an online payments platform for NGOs, the number of NGOs whose FCRA registrations have been “closed” has doubled overnight.

“It also does not appear to be a case of NGOs being informed earlier and the site being updated now. 30% of the NGOs were removed in one go. No reason was given,” Mr. Udani said.
