Pakistan’s decision to declare Hafiz Saeed’s brother-in-law Abdul Makki a global terrorist, China said this

China on Tuesday said for Pakistan-based top Lashkar-e-Taiba leader Abdul Rehman Makki that the terrorism list is conducive to enhancing global counter-terror cooperation. China also lauded the crores for supporting terrorism efforts.

Maize has already been declared a global phenomenon in India and the US. A proposal was also brought in the UN last year by India, due to which maize was declared global, but China acted as usual to obstruct. After which it could not be declared global.

What did China say?
However, now China supported his decision. “Terrorism is the enemy of humanity. The 1267 Committee (shared of the UN Security Council) is an important international counter-terrorism mechanism. And direct or authorized actions under the auspices of the United Nations List of organizations conducive to enhancing international counterterrorism cooperation in response to terrorist acts.”

Wang Wenbin said, ‘China always participates in the work of the 1267 Committee in a responsible manner, in accordance with the Committee’s requirements and regulations.’ Let us tell you that Makki Pakistan was located in many credibility, which China had sought for years to prevent it from being listed as a global terrorist. China’s move to remove its objection to the UN listing of maize came as its new minister, Qin Gang, began his term. Qin was previously China’s ambassador to the US and has now succeeded Wang Yi.

What did the UN say?
Abdul Rehman Makki is associated with the Pakistan terrorist organization named Lashkar-e-Taiba. Lashkar is now active under the name Jamaat-ud-Dawa. Makki has another identity. The United Nations said in its statements – ‘On January 16, 2023, the Security Council Committee has put Abdul Rahman Makki of ISIL, Al-Qaeda Sanctions Committee on the banned list.’

Mekki’s assets freeze
The UN Security Council’s 1267 IS Authorization and Al-Qaeda Sanctions Committee nominated McKee to its list on Monday. The UN has frozen Makki’s assets. Travel restrictions and delayed purchases have been put in place.

Pakistan arrested on 15 May 2019
Makki was arrested by the Government of Pakistan on 15 May 2019. In 2020, Makki was sentenced by a Pakistani court in the terror funding case. He is under arrest in Lahore House. India and the US have already put Makki on watch lists under their own laws.

Funds get attention for Tayyaba
According to the UN, Global Terrorist Abdul Rehman Makki is the head of the political wing of Lashkar-e-Taiba. He is also serving as the head of the Department of Foreign Affairs. His main job is to collect funds for Taiba.

Many speculations are carried out in India
Makki has so far executed many big judas in India. This includes Red Fort attack in 2000, Rampur camp attack in 2008, Baramulla, Srinagar and Bandipora attacks in 2018. The frontline outfit Lashkar had also carried out the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
