Pan-Asian food on your radar? YouMee is where you need to be in Gurgaon

It is a well known fact that Chinese food is extremely popular in India. We have created our own brand new homegrown Chinese or Chin-Zabi recipe to satisfy the craving for umami flavor. However, in the post-COVID era, diners are more inclined to experiment and explore other cuisines from Asian countries. The growing popularity of shows and movies from these countries has led to the appearance of Japanese cuisine in a large way in Korean cuisine. If you want to explore the amazing flavors of Pan-Asian cuisine beyond the usual desi Chinese, YouMee is where you need to be.

Located on the 3rd floor of Gulzar Ambience Mall, Yumi Scores full marks in terms of accessibility. The spacious restaurant space is brightly decorated and gives off a casual and fun ambiance instead of the usual dimly lit Chinese eateries. Inspired by famous manga comic scenes, the black and white interiors are prominently displayed. A quick glance at the menu reveals a plethora of options for all kinds of tastes, appetites and eaters.

New York Cheese and Chili Oil Dim Samso

YouMee’s affinity for incorporating cheese into its preparations was evident from our very first dish – the New York Cheese and Chili Oil Dim Samso, These signature creations were packed with cream cheese and topped with chili oil—each bite offering a range of textures and flavors, rightfully being declared the most popular item. Yumi’s Menu. we also tried Crystal Duck and Cherry Dumplings From the dim sum section, which were sweet, satiating and tangy in taste thanks to the char siu sauce. Among the sushi options, our go-to was Yasai Tempura Roll, The sushi roll features tempura-fried vegetables with sesame seeds for an added crispiness. The Spicy Mayo also praised the sushi very much.

While the main course left us spoiled for choice, we would definitely recommend trying Vegan Coconut Curry Ramen Bowl, The yellow coconut milk based curry with vegetables like broccoli, baby corn, carrots, mushrooms and cauliflower was really satiating. The addition of coriander, spring onions, lemongrass, ground peanuts, galangal and fresh red chillies added flavor to the dish. Another Thai favourite, Raw Papaya Som Tamo, was next on our list. The sweet and juicy salad had an incredibly flavorful dressing and the signature bird’s eye chili added a delicious layer of spice to it.
