New Delhi [India]May 13 (ANI): Actor Parineeti Chopra and AAP leader Raghav Chadha’s engagement is finally happening today. And global star Priyanka Chopra arrived in Delhi to be with her sister on her big day.
Priyanka quietly left the Delhi airport on Saturday morning. Many shutterbugs standing outside the airport caught a glimpse of Priyanka.
In these pictures and clips, Priyanka is seen greeting the lensman with folded hands. Without saying anything, she quickly moved towards her car.
Dressed in a brown oversized hoodie, Priyanka looked cool in her airport look. She paired her casual outfit with a black cap.
Looks like Priyanka will attend Parineeti’s engagement ceremony and Raghav without her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie.
Kapurthala House in New Delhi is the destination for the ring ceremony. Reports suggest that Raghav will be seen in a minimal Achkan designed by his maternal uncle, fashion designer Pawan Sachdeva and Parineeti will choose a subtle Indian outfit from Manish Malhotra.
The ceremony is expected to begin at 5 pm and will be performed as per Sikh rituals. The ceremony will start from Sukhmani Sahib Path followed by Ardaas at 6 pm.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and other leaders are expected to attend the ceremony.
Rumors of Parineeti and Raghav dating started after they were spotted together on a lunch date in Mumbai in March.
Neither Parineeti nor Raghav officially confirmed their relationship but an AAP leader congratulated them on their “union” in March. Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjeev Arora shared a collage of Parineeti and Raghav’s pictures. May their union be blessed with an abundance of love, joy and companionship. My best wishes,” he said in a tweet.
Reportedly, Parineeti and Raghav studied together at the London School of Economics and have been friends for a long time.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Parineeti will be seen sharing screen space with Diljit Dosanjh in ‘Chamkila’. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film revolves around two popular Punjabi singers Amarjot Kaur and Amar Singh Chamkila.
